What I'm Wearing this Autumn

Heeey guys! So I feel like I haven't spoken/written/communicated with you guys for weeks and weeks, I think that's partly due to only posting once a week, but I have loads of coursework at the moment so... Anyway, today I am going to share with you what I'm wearing this Autumn, which includes a mini Primark haul!

Stripey Slouch top - £7 - Primark

I lovee this top! I brought it from Primark, and I haven't really been loving Primark recently, so it was so nice to find a lot of things that I really like in there! This jumper has quite snug sleeves, but with a baggy body section (I'm really not selling this). I wear this with some black jeans plus my black Vans, or black slip on shoes.

Berry Cardigan - £8 - Primark

This photo really doesn't do this cardigan justice! The colour is so nice, and Autumnal, and goes with so many outfits that I own. I have been wearing this with black high-waisted jeans, a stripey crop top and my black Vans. I love it because it can be used in a smart or casual environment and it's just so soft and cosy.

Grey knot dress - £10 - Primark

Admittidly I wansn't too keen on this dress when I brought it , but my mum convinsed me to buy it, and I love it! I wear this with black tights, although leggings would probably work too, and black slip on shoes, I also wear the previous cardigan with it, to add a bit of colour.

Berry coloured midi-skirt - £8 - Primark

After not being able to work out which way around this skirt was (they put the size label that normally goes on the front, at the back) I fell in love with this skirt. I love the colour (it is almost an identical shade to the cardigan) and the zip makes it look a little bit more interesting. I don't have any skirts in exactly this style, so it'll make a nice addition to my wardrobe. I will wear this with a kind of chiffon top, black tights and some slip on shoes again.

Get ready for a awful change of lighting, as the sun went down and I had to turn my bedroom light on.

Aztec Bodycon Midi-Dress - £4.99 - Charity shop (originally Cameo Rose(New Look))

I love this dress, this isn't one that I have worn very often, as it is more of a 'going out' dress, but the times that I have worn it, I have loved! It is made of such a nice material, which makes it feel like one long cosy t-shirt, rather than most Bodycon dresses which make you feel so restricted that you feel you can't breathe. I wear this dress with black tights and black slip on shoes, or if it's a more dressy up occasion, I will wear black enclosed heels.
(It's burgundy, gold and black, if you can't quite see from the picture!)

Change of lighting again, also I don't know why these pictures look so blurry, but apologies for that!

Checked V-neck Shirt - £34 - River Island

I ummed an ahhhed over this top for ages! (It also featured in my High Street Haul, way back in July) I am absolutely in love with this shirt, it is great for those days where it's cold in the morning and hotter later on, as it's quite thin and floaty. I'm not a massive fan of v-neck things, but I actually really like this one, it looks much better on I promise! I wear this with surprise surprise my black high-waisted jeans and black slip on shoes.

Orange Check Wrap(Shawl) - £19.99 - New Look

My last item is basically a blanket, it's kind of a shawl, however I think New Look thought that made people sound old so they went and changed it to a name commonly associated with a flat circular bread - great thinking. Despite the awful name of this product, I actually really like it, it is perfect for the days when it is freezing in the morning, hot at lunch and then cold in the evening, as it can be worn with a short sleeved t-shirt, and will still keep you warm enough in the cold. I wear it with my high-waisted black jeans, my stripey crop top and black Vans (I'm noticing a theme...)

So I hope you liked this post, if you want more fashion posts, then please let me know, because I love writing them!

See you soon...

Geraldine

  8. Primark have some amazing things in stock this autumn, I haven't been in there for so long so when I visited last week I was pleasantly surprised! The River Island shirt is cute, the pattern fits in with the season perfectly, I have a cream shirt in that tailoring from H&M and it looks great tucked into some black joni jeans and platform shoes!
