Dressing Fit for Friday

I was recently inspired by the people over at T.M. Lewin to create a office to happy hour look. I think it's safe to say that finding an outfit that is suitable for work and play takes a whole lot of time and effort. I have created two day-to-night looks, one female and one male, to inspire your wardrobe.

I love this outfit, and it is something that I would probably find myself wearing. Depending on your work place, I would leave the scarf and wear the rest of the outfit, and then for the evening, I'd wear the scarf to add a bit more colour to the outfit. I love the three shades of blue that are in this outfit as well, as I feel that it shows more personality than a white/black outfit, but isn't too vibrant and in your face. It's also an outfit which would work well with all skin colours, as blue suits most people's complexion.

This outfit took me ages to compile, as I've never had to pick smart/casual outfits for guys to wear. I really like shades of blue and browns together if you haven't guessed, and I feel that they work really well in this outfit. The navy blue jacket paired with a light blue shirt and chino trousers gives a really relaxed but professional feel, which is complimented well by the light brown watch and light brown brogues.

Brouges - Toms

If your looking for casual wear staples or even polished formal wear, T.M. Lewin has a variety of suits for occasions beyond your fit for Friday essentials.

  2. I would definitely find this difficult as I definitely wouldn't want to go out in the clothes I wear to work! So you've done a great job! I adore that scarf - so perfect for Spring!
