What I'm Looking Forward to this Summer

Can we please take a moment to appreciate that I have survived a whole two years at college and didn't drop out, which I contemplated doing every single day. Well, now you've appreciated that, lets get on with the post. I feel that last year I kind of wasted my summer. Sure we went on a holiday, I went to the beach on a number of occasions and we had a day out to the zoo, but on the whole I spend 2 months doing very little apart from sleeping late and sunbathing. So this year I decided to try and do more things that I enjoy doing, and that I want to do.
Reading More Books
I follow so many 'Bookstagram' feeds on Instagram and they all inspire me to read new books, but I never get around to it. Last summer I brought quite a few books and I haven't got around to reading half of them (I didn't even finish the one photographed), so I'm definitely going to attempt that this year.

Sunsets on the Beach

One thing you might not know about me is that I absolutely LOVE the beach. It makes me feel instantly calm and it's just so nice to be away from my everyday life. It's even better taking walks on the beach in the evening, there are the most beautiful sunsets (especially in Cornwall) and it just makes me feel so complete.

Improving my Blog Photography

Last summer I got really into taking photo's. I don't think there was one day out we went on that didn't include my dad's camera being used. This year I want to take even more, and also focus on doing some nice flay lays to go with some of my posts.

Travelling

I think I say this every year, but I'm looking forward to going places this summer. If it all goes to plan we should be going to France and two festivals this year, and I'm really looking forward to those. My best friend also passed her driving test the other day, so I'm sure there will be plenty of mini road trips too

Going on Bike Rides
I'm also looking forward to going on more bike rides. Riding my bike is something that I enjoy greatly and I just never seem to find the time, and when there is time, it's ALWAYS raining. Yay go Britain.

What are you looking forward to this summer?

  4. You have a great blog and I'm really enjoying reading it! I'm looking forward to my classical ballet intensive the most this summer, as well as reading all the books I put on my reading bucket list. Two questions...First, is there a way to subscribe to your blog. I've been reading it on my phone so maybe there is a button I'm missing?? Secondly, is there any advice you could offer a newbie blogger like me? I just recently started a blog "pointeshoesandwoodenspoons.com" and can't figure out how to get into the blogging community. Thanks! ( Foodarina/ Sophia D.)
